What New Start did for me: As a New Start student, New Start gave me a variety of new friends and allowed me to be able to be exposed to college before I started it. It helped me prepare socially, physically, mentally, and emotionally through the resources that it provided and the opportunities given. As a New Start Peer Advisor, I was able to share my knowledge and experience with students in order to create a safe environment which allowed me to be able to connect with students more and learn from them as well.

I decided to join New Start + because: I want to continue working with New Start, as well as be able to help as many students as I can. Being a part of New Start+ will allow me to connect with more students and I will be able to learn from them, as much as they will learn from me.

Fun Fact: I have never been on an airplane nor been to a concert before!
