New Start Commuter Experience is here to offer support to students attending New Start while living off campus.

New Start Su Casa Programs:
New Start Su Casa programs are designed by students for students. Programs range from educational to social but are always fun! Make new friends, learn new skills and take a break from your school work! Programs are located in the New Start Dorm on Tuesday and Thursday nights starting at 5:00 PM. All New Start students are welcome and can also participate remotely!

Parking
If you wish to commute to campus for programs or to access our work space, there are great University-specific and public transportation options available on the UA campus. New Start partners with the UA's Parking and Transportation (PTS) department to offer on-campus parking to participants bringing vehicles to campus during the program. Students will be emailed the form in the few weeks leading up to the program if they wish to bring their vehicle. The form and payment should be taken, by hand, to the PTS office the day of the student's arrival to campus. Students will receive their parking permit directly from PTS at that time.

Parking permits in garages and lots for the academic school year can be purchased on the Parking and Transportation website.

The University of Arizona has strict and enforced parking rules. Students bringing vehicles are responsible for reviewing and adhering to those rules. New Start is not responsible for student participants who do not review or do not adhere to PTS rules.

Bus Systems
The Sun Tran offers a variety of bus routes (including Sun Express routes and the Tucson Sun Link) that serve the University of Arizona campus.

Bicycle Programs
The UA offers several bicycle share programs. These programs may be an option for New Start commuters who live close to campus. The UA offers bicycle lockers and enclosures, bike valet, and cat wheels bike sharing - for more information about bicycle programs at the UA visit bicycle services webpage.
