You're invited.
Now what?

Congratulations! Being invited to New Start means you've been selected for a unique opportunity to begin your college journey early — with real academic support and a built-in community behind you.

Your next steps:

1

2

Once you're ready, submit the Intake Form by June 5 to get started.

3

Watch your email for important deadlines and move-in information.

4

Get ready to start strong at the University of Arizona!

What's the commitment?

New Start is a full-time, four-week residential experience. Students are expected to actively participate in classes, study sessions, workshops, and community activities throughout the program.
Students who commit to New Start should be prepared to fully engage in both the academic and residential experience.

What's the Day-to-Day Like?

Students can expect a structured weekday schedule that may include:
  • Morning academic sessions
  • Math readiness instruction
  • Writing or learning workshops
  • Lunch and breaks
  • Study sessions or tutoring
  • Evening community events and activities
No two days are exactly the same, but every day is designed to help students grow academically and personally.
