A Day in the Life of New Start

Your days at New Start will be filled with coursework, extracurricular activities and so much more! Monday through Friday, class begins at 8:30 am. Yes, we know it's early, but in order to provide all of the academic support and social programs, we need to start without delay! Below is an example of what a typical day in New Start might look like for you!

New Start also collaborates with departments across campus to offer college-specific programs as well as additional extracurricular opportunities. Examples of these programs include the Lunch and Learn series offered by the College of Engineering and the Research Careers in Science colloquium offered by the College of Science. These are scheduled throughout the program, but are always between 12:30 and 5 pm so that they do not interfere with New Start class time.
