Cancellation & Refund Policy
Students who complete their contract who then decide not to participate in New Start must cancel by JUNE 8, 2019 by completing the online form at newstart.arizona.edu/cancel. Students who cancel by this date will not have any financial responsibility for the program. Students who cancel after this date, or who do not show up for the program without canceling, will be charged the New Start Late Cancellation Fee of $150 to their UA Bursar's account. Students who cancel their admission to UA are still required to complete the New Start Contract Cancellation, or they will be held financially responsible.
If you cancel your New Start contract, you are responsible for rescheduling your New Student Orientation by contacting the Next Steps Center at (520) 621-5293 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have questions regarding cancellations or withdrawals, please contact the New Start office as soon as possible at 520-621-5773 or via email.
Students who withdraw from the program are not entitled to a refund of the program fees and may have to pay back any financial aid received in accordance with financial aid laws.
