New Start Dates: June 9 - July 21, 2017.

Students are eligible to attend the New Start Summer Program if they meet the following requirements:
- They have graduated/will graduate high school in the 2016-2017 academic year.
- They are a first-time freshmen who has not attended college; concurrently enrolled students may apply.
- They have been admitted to the University of Arizona and plan to enroll during the 2017 Fall semester in at least 6 units (half-time).
- They complete and submit all required New Start documentation by the required dates.

How to Apply
The application for New Start 2017 will open November 1. To apply to New Start, students should fill out the online application by clicking the "Apply" link above. Your student will need their 8-digit EmplID number that they received when they applied to the UA.
What Happens Next?
Once your student's admission to the University of Arizona is verified and they have created a UA student email account, we will send them an email with further instructions on how to complete their program contract and a link to the online registration. Their space is not guaranteed until they complete this step and receive confirmation from our office, so its important to complete the online registration as soon as possible once they receive the link.
Please Note: UA's official form of communication is your student's University email account (their email address that ends in @email.arizona.edu) which they will set up once they have been admitted to UA. We will not send email to other types of email accounts such as Gmail, Hotmail, AOL,etc. Students should check their University email regularly as that is where important updates on New Start will be sent.
